Grand Opening

You’re Invited to the Grand Opening!
What:   Grand Opening for ACHI/Kids Against Hunger with Special Africa Crisis Relief Sessions to help provide life saving food for the Horn of Africa
When:  Saturday September 24th, 2011
Where: 2430 E Kemper Rd, Sharonville Ohio 45241
Time:   9am until 5pm (Ribbon Cutting and Festivities begin at 9am)

Who are we? A Child’s Hope Int’l is your new neighbor, in the McSwain Carpet & Flooring Center on Kemper Rd, in Sharonville. Our acclaimed Kids Against Hunger program provides life-saving, high protein food packets to starving children all over the world.
What do we do?  A Child’s Hope Int’l cares for orphans, children in foster care as well as hungry and thirsty children worldwide. Volunteers from across the Tri-State region come to our Kids Against Hunger "Factory" to produce high protein, life saving food for hungry children in our city, in our country and around the world. In the past three years, 20,000+ volunteers have produced 7+ million meals at the "Factory". This remarkable program can feed a hungry child for just 25¢ a day. And (even more remarkably) 1 volunteer who works for just 2 hours can feed 1 child for 1 year.
Who are our volunteers?  Kids Against Hunger is a family friendly program in which people of all ages from 5 to 85 have worked together at the factory. Individuals and groups from churches, synagogues, schools, social clubs, colleges, businesses, senior centers and civic groups are common sources of volunteers for packaging our food.
Why are we in Sharonville?  Over the past 3 years, we have used available space in West Chester, Blue Ash and most recently in Milford. Our move to Sharonville has provided a larger facility and an improved location! As a result, we will be able to attract more volunteers, to help more orphans and to send more life saving Kids Against Hunger meals worldwide.
Want to learn more?  Attend the Grand Opening and ...take a factory tour, sample the food, work the packing line, sit in on a training session (for the 800+ volunteers that day), learn about adoption and foster care, meet local authors Mark Curnutte and Holly Schlaack, learn about a child’s life in Haiti through the Restavek Foundation, get meal coupons from Chick-fil-A, listen to the Princeton H.S. Marching band, free face painting, and much more!
